Sick of Winter!

Okay this winter has been awful. My family has been sick pretty much the whole entire winter months. But the confusing part is... We had never had flu shots until this year and this year we decided to get them.. and guess what. We have been sick ever since! It's crazy. If there is some kind of virus going around.. we will for sure get it! It has been one after another and I am exhausted from it.

So recently my family had caught what I thought was the common cold. But then it became worse as time went on. Well turns out it was a sinus infection.. okay so we can deal with that. Well Rynn just never seemed to get better. Well I took her into the doctor today and to find out.. she still has her sinus infection, an ear infection and strep throat! Are you kidding me?! So she is back on antibiotics! Ugh will this ever end?

A day in the life of Rynn

Top of the morning begins anywhere from 6:30-7:30 AM. We get up and are usually in a rush to get Gabe off to school! Rynn loves to help her brother do everything including brushing his teeth. The one thing she has to do before Gabe goes to school is hide his shoes. Drives me nuts! Because sometimes they are hidden so good.. I start losing my mind trying to find them and need I mention that I still to this day I can't find a pair of my dress shoes! ( I think the garbage must have ate them)

9:00 AM- Rynn is usually eating breakfast about this time and planning her busy day of tormenting the cat and making messes!


10:00 AM- Cleaning away! She loves to help me clean house.. Although I have to say cleaning really is not the word that I am looking for!












11:00 AM- LUNCH TIME!! You will know when it is lunch time in this house. She will point and grab things out of the cupboard! And when I start to cook her food she will grab the foot stool and put it in front of the stove/microwave.. and wait patiently for her food timer to go off! Way too cute!


12:00 PM- Nap time! One of my favorite times in the day!! She is usually a pretty good napper! She will sleep anywhere between 2-3 hours... which is awesome because that is mommy time. I can catch up on things I can usually do while she is awake!



3:20 PM- Time to pick up Gabe! Another one of her favorite times of the day! Although she hates riding in the car she gets super excited when she sees her brother. She will wave to him and start clapping! I wish had a video of this because it is just the cutest! But I don't! :(


5:30 PM- Dinner time! Need I say more! :)


6:30 PM- Bath time. I can honestly say she is a water baby! She can be really good in the bath some days and others all I can see is watch out because there could be a flood!


7:00-7:30 PM- Bedtime! She is usually zonked out after laying in bed for five minutes! But other nights she will fight me!

I can honestly say that From sun up to sun down, Rynn is a very busy girl! She keeps me on my toes thats for sure! Although I stress like everyone else.. I truly treasure these moments because they certainly don't last long!

What am I feeling?!

Okay so lately I have been just down in the dumps. You could ask me why, but honestly I couldn't tell you! I have had no energy and no motivation! I am usually really upbeat! It could be the weather playing games with me, the fact that I never see my husband or just really exhausted taking care of the kids by myself. Hey it could even be all the weight I have gained and having trouble loosing! Or it could be everything in general... Who knows! I just know I want to feel like me again. I have been trying weight watchers and it is not going well, I pretty much fall off the wagon everyday. I I try working out but hate doing it by myself! I just get so discouraged so easily when it comes to loosing weight!

I haven't been able to see my husband much lately and that drives me crazy! Seeing him for a few hours a day or sometimes not seeing him for a couple days just doesn't cut it! I believe it is taking a huge toll on the kids as well! Gabe always asks if Dad will be home today/tonight and if I tell him no I can just tell the disappointment! It's awful! Rynn gets super excited when she hears the door open.. she always thinks its daddy! But when it is her Dad, she will clap her hands and then throw them up in the air so he can grab her.. its cute!

I don't know I just hope that things start to look up! I just want everything to be how it used to be! I think everything just got to me all at once and I guess you could call this my once in a year breakdown lol! I feel a little better just writing everything down and venting!

Life in a mixture!

UGGHH! I had surgery last week and so while I was down I was using my computer ALOT! One because I had nothing else to do lol and second I love my computer. Well three days after my surgery my laptop breaks! Talk about frustrating! I can turn it on but once its on I cant type or use my mouse and even if I plug in my wireless it still doesn't work.. so I pretty much friend the whole keyboard!! So I was calling around everywhere and to find out it is going to cost more to fix it compared to buying a new one!! Lance has his computer, its a desktop, but it is such a hassel to use. So after my long week of not having one, Lance bought me one last night and it will be here probably Thursday or Friday! Woo Hoo!! I have seriously been lost without my laptop! I am so used to getting on checking my email, bank account, myspace, weather, my blog, and everything else and it isn't easy to do with Lances computer!! So as soon as I get my computer I will be back trying to blog as well as trying to spice up my page LOL!

Other that nothing really else has been going! Lance starts his new schedule, instead of being on 12 off 3 he gets 11 on 4 off, which isn't the best but we will take anything to see him right now! He gets two weeks of vacation in March so we are going to try to go to Georgia to visit Ross, Amy and the kids and hopefully stay for a week! So that will be nice to get out of the cold and feel some warmth!

Gabe is halfway through the school year and still enjoys school! He has learned so much this year, we are so proud of him! He loves to draw, he is constantly drawing me pictures of houses and cars!

Rynn is getting so big! I can't believe how fast she is growing up! She babbles all sorts of things! I think her favorite thing to do is Hiss at the cat or play in brothers room while he is at school! She thinks she is being sneaky.

I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year and can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to! So as soon I get my computer I will be caught up! Talk to you all then!

Needing Help!

Blogging for the Clueless!!

Okay so I started blogging about a month ago and some things I understand and some things I don't. I put a background on my page and was super happy, and now for the life of me.. I can't change it.. PLEASE HELP!! So if anyone can please help to tell me how to change my background that would be great.

Next on my list is I tried putting up pictures with some writing underneath but it never turns out, it goes all over the place. I look at some people's blogs and it is perfect, they have their pictures and then like a little story underneath, well when I try that, it doesn't work, and believe me I worked on it for like three hours one night, and was VERY FRUSTRATED! So if anyone can help me with that please feel free to five me some pointers!!

Christmas 08

Merry Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year! Christmas and the New Years are my favorite. I love spending time with my family. To be honest I was getting a little irritated at the beginning of the holidays because I had not felt the Christmas spirit like I usually do around the holidays, but that all changed about a week before Christmas. Lance was able to be home a little more than usual and he actually got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas and home with our family, which we thought was going to be very unlikely!

On Christmas Eve, we did our every year tradition. We ate a big dinner at Bobettes, which was very yummy, then drove around and looked at Christmas lights, and Oh my how beautiful they were, and when we were done with that we came home to watch a Christmas Story one of our favorites. We all fell asleep pretty early especially Gabe, he knew if he didn't go to sleep Santa would skip by our house!

Christmas morning Lance and I woke up before the kids and were excited to see their faces when they opened their Christmas gifts. Gabe had no idea what he was getting. Sometimes we give him clues but not this year! Gabe had fun tearing into the presents while Rynn had fun watching! After my living room was destroyed with wrapping paper and toys we then went over to Bobettes and ate and spend time with each other.

I am so thankful for my wonderful family and their beautiful spirits. I was very thankful that my husband got to spend Christmas with us and not at work. I am thankful for the gospel and everything that it has brought into our lives. People say we have changed and all I can do is smile because its the change that made us into the beautiful family that we are today!

Snow!

Wow! I have always been a huge fan of snow.. well that was until my husband got a job at Cameron! I dread the word SNOW now. I am sitting here looking outside my window and of course it is snowing and my husband is in Vernal, UT and has to drive back in this! This job requires him to travel to Pinedale everyday and back sometimes even twice a day! They will call him out at 2 am in a blizzard and he will still have to go! I had a big scare last night which may be the reason for writing this today.

I was sitting at home with kids last night after my husband had left for Vernal and the phone rang at about 8:45 p.m, and I looked at the number and it was an 872 number, and I was like hmm.. who could be calling this late? So I answered it and it was a lady asking if this was Jeanna, Lance Martins wife, and I said yes and she said she was calling in regards to Lance Martin and then the phone kind of cut out and I couldn't understand her.. so here I am thinking the worst that my husband has got into a wreck, so I started crying. Well I heard the lady say Maam, and I asked her what she had said the phone cut out and she said that she was calling because a book that Lance had pre-ordered at the library came in. I felt so stupid but at the same time it was the best feeling in the world! I can't even describe my feelings last night. So as soon as I had got off the phone with her, I called Lance and I never thought how amazing it was to hear his voice and to know he was okay!
